The National Association for the Advancement of Caucasian People
The NAACP has sued Myrtle Beach to stop the forced one-way traffic on Ocean Boulevard, which the group calls discriminatory because such a system is not used during the Harley rally.
City officials say the two events create different traffic issues and demand the use of different traffic patterns.
The suit is before a federal appeals court.
"The traffic pattern worked very well," Myrtle Beach spokesman Mark Kruea said.
"Most of the time traffic moved better on Ocean Boulevard than on Kings Highway."
The Rev. Kenneth Floyd, president of the Conway branch of the NAACP, said other issues the organization's representatives noticed were related to "maltreatment by the police who were writing trivial citations."
"If someone stuck their head out of a car window to take a video, they got a ticket."
He said issues cited by the observers during the weekend could lead to additional lawsuits. o lord here we go again.
Floyd said those observations made in Atlantic Beach, on Ocean Boulevard and at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, along with complaints the organization received through a hot line (1-888-362-8683) it established during the weekend, will be evaluated by NAACP officials.

* The exact amount a Rev. A-D iMac can be upgraded varies from unit to unit. We have field reports of some models accepting 256 MB modules in both memory socket and reaching 512 MB -- and other reports of early iMacs that won't work at all with 256 MB modules. There appears to be no way to know in advance whether a particular iMac will work with a certain sized memory module. - VRAM: 2 MB SGRAM, expandable to 4 MB or 6 MB using SGRAM SO-DIMMs

Old Video Game

In 1978 Magnavox released a new video game system for the home market: The Odyssey². This new unit bore no relation to the scrapped 24-game system. Instead, it was a fully programmable home video game systerm that was designed to use 2K ROM game cartridges. Like the Atari VCS, the CPU of the O^2 was powerful enough such that each game could be a completely unique experience, with its own background graphics, foreground graphics, gameplay, scoring and music. The potential was enormous, as an unlimited number of games could be individually purchased. Like the Atari 2600, the Odyssey² allowed any game player to purchase a library of video games tailored to his or her own interest.

Ok Look how little it took to Excite peple then!
Here is What Game Play Looked Like.
Mind Shattering i know...
WOW

Times have changed!

The Making of Lord Darth Vader
Well my beyotch K2 was watching the 10 oclock news, and they reported that a Midnight showing of Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith, was all the haps here in Myrtle, so she hops in her car and calls me to see if i wanted to go..........well duh, so we went. i was disappointed that it was not the freak show i saw at the last Star Wars Film, guess i musta missed those people ? i did not see a single person in costume.
The film starts off fast, has some ships shooting lazers and stuff at each other, then the Fellas pull off one imposable feat after another, somebody pulls a Light Saber and then its on! few imposable feats later, A Lil heroism, with more imposable feats, some light sabers get swung back and fro, some sappy smoochie lovey dovey "o Anakin I'm pregnant with our love child" oooo ahhhhh..........this is your first bathroom break its long enough you could grab a snack as well, without missing a single Plot line! Then some F**ked up Shizer stuff goes down, people freak out and lose there damn mind the force is all outta control, whole Heck a lot a light sabers get swung around, up, and down! You get to see Yoda Break Bad Ass, with his Yoda sized Light Saber.
Then a whole bunch of stuff happens.......and it comes to the making of Darth Vader we know and love, Boy's and Girl's Let me just tell ya, I think this is a great scene, fantastic Portrayed Grotesquely painful destruction of Flesh that yields a monster!
I give it a thumbs up, the best part is they do not allow
Jar Jar Binks or whatever the heck that dumb floppy faced thing say a word, that is a good thing!Plot Outline: After three years of fighting in the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker begins his journey towards the Dark Side of the Force, putting his friendship with Obi Wan Kenobi and his marriage at risk. Jesus Christ and his apostles may have used a cannabis-based anointing oil to help cure people with crippling diseases, it has been claimed.
"The holy anointing oil, as described in the original Hebrew version of the recipe in Exodus, contained over six pounds
of keneh-bosum - a substance identified by respected etymology, linguists anthropologists, botanists and other
researchers as cannabis extracted into about six quarts of olive oil along with a variety of other fragrant herbs.
"The ancient annointed ones were literally drenched in this potent mixture."
Is it unchristian to persecute people who used cannabis? It is "unChristian" to PERSECUTE anyone for any thing!
The Bible does say that St. Stephen was stoned... but perhaps not in that sense!"

Doomsayers Say Benedict Fits World End Prophecy - Yahoo! News
To connect Benedict, a pale, bookish German, to anything olive takes some imagination. But Malachy-watchers point to the choice of the name Benedict -- an allusion to the Order of Saint Benedict, a branch of which is known as the Olivetans.
'When (he) chose the name Benedict XVI, this was seen as fulfilling the prophecy for this pope,' wrote one entry on www.wikipedia.org.
Benedict said that he chose the name partly in honor of Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922), calling him a 'courageous prophet of peace.' On Wednesday, Benedict dedicated his papacy to 'the service of reconciliation and harmony between peoples.'
'Perhaps Benedict XVI will be a peacemaker in the Church or in the world, and thus carry the olive branch,' speculated www.catholic-pages.com.
Another site, www.bibleprobe.com, went even further, showing a picture of Benedict holding olive branches in March during Palm Sunday celebrations.
'Is this the Pope of Peace (olive)?' it asked in the caption.
Critics widely dismiss the Malachy prophecy as a forgery and possible propaganda meant to influence a 16th century conclave. Doses of skepticism even appear on the most energetic Malachy web pages.
But believers point out similarities between the prophecy's descriptions and past pontificates.
Pope John Paul II, number 110, was described in the prophecy as 'de labore solis' -- or 'of the labor of the sun.'
He was born on May 18, 1920, the same day as a solar eclipse. The pontiff was buried on April 8, 2005 -- the same day as a partial eclipse, visible in the Americas.
More pressing for doomsayers are the prophecy's references to the "=-=-=-=----=-=-=--=--=-=-=-
Yummy Frog Cocktail
"We were checking the fridges when out jumped a frog. It had escaped, they were in big crates," a spokesman for Lima city hall said on Thursday.
Frog cocktails are popular in the Andes because of their supposed aphrodisiac qualities. Shops in central Lima selling the drinks have tanks where customers can choose their frogs.
He said the Telmatobius frogs -- which had apparently been brought from the southern lakes in the high Andes -- were found on Wednesday stored in the abattoir.
They were taken to a colonial fountain in central Lima to splash around before being returned to their native lakes by ecological police.
"There were about 5,000 of them but 1,000 died because of the conditions and in transit," the spokesman said.
