A great steak

After calss today we went to eat at Mike's American Grill .
My server Jeff M. is one of the best servers i have ever had!
We walked up, and were immediately seated, our server promptly greeted us, when he came to the table for drink order one in my party received a phone call, and our server was very patient and took our order, i ordered an alcohol drink and i also ordered a coke "with my dinner", our server brought our drinks, and told me my coke would come closer to my dinner, "that is exactly how i wanted it and what happened" we ordered an appetizer, it was brought with a smile, we ordered our entrees, our salad was brought with a smile, then about 4 or 5 minutes our entrees arrived, we were less than half way done with the salads, but we had to make room for the entrees, the expediter did not offer to take out large empty appetizer plate i was holding my salad above the table in order for the entrees to have room to be placed on the table.
When i cut into my steak i realized it was way over cooked, and across the table my dinner partner cut into his and it was under cooked, after a bit or two i realized that my rib eye was a cut of prime rib......
Well apparently our steaks were plated wrong, the rib eye was on the prime rib plate set up and the prime rib was on the rib eye setup, our server was very professional he promptly took our two steaks and told us a manager would come by, an expediter brought our meals shortly after a manager came by "i do not know his name he did not introduce himself" and said "did they get your steaks right? Ok is every thing good" my dining partner "the prime rib" requested some au jus the manager got it and ask if we needed anything else. My steak was perfect, it was correct temperature, and was fantasticly flavorful.
After our meal our server offered us dessert on the house we were all full so he suggested we get them to go, so we did, but when the expediter came to the table our desserts were on a plate, so we told her they were to go she promptly boxed them for us.

Computer class funorama

Well i left Myrtle Beach SC, at 1:50 pm Monday, and made it Regan National Airport in Washington DC just in time for rush hour...YAY
Of course there was a problem with my hotel reservation, after i got checked in i took a nap. got up went to grab a bite to eat for dinner, came back and went to bed.
Today was the first of 4 days of a Computer class for my JOB, it went well.
Now in bored as crap, it is raining so i cant even get out and walk around, i am about ten miles from DC, so if it clears up tommrow, i may grab the Metro and head over to my Nations Captial?
Now if only i have someone to go to dinner with it would be a little more bearable. OWELL
On the plus side........My hotel does have free wireless for my Laptop.

I got my little cast iron corn bread tray shaped like little fish out, i grab a bag of corn meal,
hand it to Tammy and tell her to look on bag for a cornbread how to, she says "I know how
to make corn bread", she was putting a big squrt of Mayo in the mix last time i looked.

So you wonder why country musis is soooo sad

Chris Cagle ::: Anywhere But Here: "To All My Loyal Music Fans:

'As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life. The baby has been born and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically, the child is not mine.

As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment is equally as strong. So out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter. I'm thanking you in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding.'"
